The wedding ceremony will take place at the Vine Hill House in Sebastopol, California. The Vine Hill House is only 5 minutes from the Wiley-Contreras household, where our lovely bride Sophia was born (in her parents’ bedroom) and raised. Sebastopol is part of the coastal region of Sonoma County. This region has been an especially important place for the two of us as we have developed our relationship. We tend to retreat out to here when we need a weekend away, want some family time, or just want to enjoy the fresh air and great food. We’ve got a favorite beach for flying kites, a beautiful route for morning runs, a yearly cheese festival, and more than a few wineries we’ve enjoyed tasting in.
Sonoma County is known for its natural beauty, delicious wine (look for ’07 Pinot Noirs from here – unbeatable, see blog), excellent restaurants, stunning coastline, and cozy little towns. Don’t hesitate to ask us for activity ideas in person. Here are a few to get you started:
