Flying: If you are flying to the area, you can fly to San Francisco International (SFO), Oakland International (OAK), or San Jose International (SJI) to get to the Bay Area. You can also fly directly to Santa Rosa Airport (STS) from certain cities.
Driving: Sebastopol is about a 1 hour drive from the San Francisco Bay Area, straight up the 101.
- Drive North on Highway 101
- Take the CA-116 W exit toward Rohnert Park/Sebastopol
- Turn left off the ramp onto Gravenstein Highway / CA-116 West (stay on 116 for about 8 miles)
- 116 West does a little dog-leg turn in downtown Sebastopol (left on McKinley at the town square, right onto Main Street, left again onto 116 West / Healdsburg Ave)
- Turn right onto Vine Hill Road
- Turn right at the signs for Vine Hill House and enter the parking lot
When in doubt, use Google Maps, it’s perfectly accurate for this trip.
Accommodations: there are a variety of wonderful places to stay in Sebastopol, from hotels to B&Bs. Please note that the area is pretty popular on summer weekends and holidays, so be sure to reserve in advance.
- We’ve arranged for a discounted rate at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Sebastopol. Just mention the Contreras-Schwartz wedding. They’ve got nice clean rooms, with good proximity to the venue and downtown Sebastopol.
- If you prefer a non-chain experience, try the locally owned and run Sebastopol Inn
- There’s a Bed & Breakfast right next door to the wedding location.
- Healdsburg is beautiful little town to stay in with lots of accommodations
- When in doubt Google: hotels, bed & breakfasts, and Santa Rosa
- Finally, there are a lot of vacation rental homes available in the area which could make for a great time for families or groups of friends. Ask us for help if you are looking for them.
